Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is known for portraying Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant from the HBO series Big Love and Francine Hanson in the AMC show Mad Men. The most well-known character played by Anne Dudek is that of Tiffany Wilson, in the 2004 movie White Chicks. She is also popular for her roles on television as the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek, who was raised in Massachusetts, attended Northwestern University and got her very first role as an actor as a part-time actress in The Iphigenia Cycle. Dudek was honored with The Joseph E. Caloway Award for her exceptional performance during The Iphigenia Cycle New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek as one of ten theatre actors who should be observed. Dudek was offered roles on television and on the big screen. A mother of two in front of the camera, the talented actress was married to Matthew Heller from 2008 to the year 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. At the beginning of her career she attended college of Northwestern University. During this time, she participated in many theater productions and also in shows on Broadway. In the following year, she received the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in recognition of her role as The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group, a British comedy drama. Since then, she has appeared in several guest roles on television shows, including Desperate housewives, Friends of The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. She also played Lucinda in the first episode of Psych. Then, she played an instructor at a high school who has an affair with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek had her first appearance at House in its fourth year, playing the character Amber Volakis. Amber is one of Dr. Gregory House's forty of candidates for the position of a permanent member on House's team. Amber Volakis' character kept appearing throughout the series, until it was finally killed off at the finale in House's Heart. Then, she returned in the season 5 episode Saviors of Season 5, as the hallucination of House. She continued to appear as this for the rest of the series. Dudek was later seen on Big Love and Mad Men in various roles, including Alby Grant's antagonistic spouses, Francine Hanson. Dudek was a part of Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks as the sister of the protagonist. Her other film roles include Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
